Maintenance Plumber

Stewart Glass is seeking a skilled and dedicated plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be able to work effectively in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

Primary Duties:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
• Read and interpret schematics to understand plumbing layouts and installations
• Fabricate plumbing components as needed for various projects
• Perform residential painting tasks related to plumbing installations or repairs
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or areas for improvement
• Collaborate with other trades such as electrical and facilities maintenance teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs

Qualifications Required/Desired:

• High school diploma or GED (required); technical training in mechanical systems (preferred)
• Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings related to plumbing systems
• Ability to fabricate custom plumbing solutions as required by specific projects
• Knowledge of electrical systems and logic controllers relevant to plumbing applications (preferred)
• Strong background in facilities maintenance practices
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to address concerns professionally
• Welding skills are desirable for certain plumbing tasks
