Mechanical Technician

Stewart Glass is looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to support operations a tour Logan, OH manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing the mechanical systems that keep our glass production running efficiently.

Primary Duties:

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical equipment such as conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems
• Assist with equipment installation and upgrades
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment  such as conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance and maintain records
• Fabricate, weld, or modify parts as needed
• Work with operations teams to minimize downtime
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications Required/Desired:

• High school diploma or GED (required); technical training in mechanical systems (preferred)
• 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Familiarity with mechanical drawings, alignment, and industrial tools
• Welding and fabrication experience (preferred)
• Willing to work flexible shifts and respond to urgent maintenance needs
