A Milestone in Bringing Solar Glass Manufacturing Back to the USA

On Monday, May 4, Stewart Glass began the heat-up of Line 1, marking a significant transition from installation to operation. This phase represents a milestone in bringing solar glass manufacturing back to the U.S. The heat-up process ensures the integrity, stability, and performance of the equipment prior to introducing raw materials.

Once operational, Line 1 will produce high-performance solar glass with the following specifications:

  • Crystalline solar glass
  • Ultra-clear composition
  • 150 tons per day capacity
  • Thickness range of 2.0–3.2 mm
  • Dual-layer anti-reflective (ARC) coating
  • Fully tempered for durability and strength

Owned. Operated. Made in USA.
